Food Protection and Licensing
This program provides licensing and inspections for food service establishments to help reduce the incidence of foodborne illness and ensure safety through adherence to food service sanitation practices and the Michigan Food law.

  • Licensing
With the exception of temporary licenses, all licenses expire on April 30th. Renewal applications are sent out approximately in March. Upon return, applications will be approved, and licenses are then sent out.
